For nearly 30 years, William Amann has built M&E Engineers on a firm foundation of specialized expertise, a dedication to cutting-edge innovation and technology, and a deep commitment to alternative, sustainable energy. With more than 35 years experience, Bill is one of the very few engineers who is an expert in both mechanical and electrical engineering.

Bill is a former Chairman of the New Jersey chapter of the United States Green Building Council, is a sponsoring member of Urban Green, the New York branch of the United States Green Building Council and is the current Chairman of the Somerset County Energy Council.

In October 2015, Bill was named as a LEED Fellow by the GBCI and USGBC. This extremely prestigious designation is awarded to those few LEED Professionals globally, whose contributions to sustainability and energy efficiency are deemed to be significant to the advancement of green building.
