Frank Tutelo, PE, LEED AP, CEA - Lead Electrical Engineer

With a stellar reputation as a proactive, solutions-oriented electrical engineer, since joining M&E Engineers in 2000, Frank has helmed an incredibly diverse portfolio of multi-million dollar electrical design builds and construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

His impressive background in both electrical contracting and electrical engineering has made him uniquely positioned to merge the theoretical solutions with practical implementations. As the author of the test protocols, used as the Verizon Standard for Switchboards, Frank is considered a vanguard of the industry.

Before earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Frank served his country as an aircraft electrician on attack squadron VA-83, assigned for deployment from the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Saratoga.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and New Jersey.

Greg Sydlowski, PE, LEED AP, CEA - Lead Mechanical Engineer

Greg, who has been with the firm since 2007, has been instrumental in the development and implementation of M&E Engineer's Level I and Level II energy audit procedures and calculations. His approach to both preliminary "walk through" audits and more detailed evaluations of building energy systems has become the hallmark of M&E's comprehensive energy solutions model.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Greg specializes in energy and airflow modeling using the latest technology, including TileFlow, eQUEST, DesignBuilder, EnergyPro, and a variety of Autodesk software programs. He also has an extensive background in designing mechanical systems for telecommunications and other mission-critical data centers that meet and exceed Tier I through Tier IV requirements. This unique level of experience has made Greg the "Go To" for mission-critical projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Drew DePalma, LEED AP, WELL AP - Director of Operations

Drew has played a critical role in the success of M&E Engineers. As the Director of Operations, he is responsible for securing new business, developing relationships with clients and potential clients, overseeing bids and proposals, and managing the complicated schedules and budgets of dozens of projects at any given time. His organizational skills and proactive, problem-solving have made him invaluable to our engineering consulting firm.

Personally dedicated to green energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable design, Drew has helped to spearhead M&E Engineers' ever-increasing involvement with green initiative programs and educational events. This dedication extends far beyond the office. Drew is the US Green Building Council Students Regional Chair for New Jersey and is a committee member of his township's Environmental and Open Space Commission.  He also recently became a WELL Accredited Professional, which signifies extensive knowledge of human health and wellness in the built environment.
