Project:
911 East Coast Network Location: Piscataway The “E” in E-9-1-1 stands for “enhanced.” We designed several facilities throughout New Jersey when E-9-1-1 was introduced in 1990. The ability of this system to identify the caller location, and instantly link that location to the nearest police, fire, and ambulance squad has saved many lives. We have continued to provide engineering support for this Network, including the new East Coast Control Center. This fast-track project included ergonomic lighting, UPS power coordination with specialized consoles, and projection systems. |
