Fisher Scientific is a leading producer and distributor of laboratory chemicals. Their facility in Bridgewater, NJ unloads bulk product from railroad tank cars and tanker trailers, and packages the chemicals for distribution worldwide. Providing containment of flammable and corrosive liquids in the event of a rupture is an interesting challenge. Rainwater pumped out of the containment area is monitored with both pH and LEL detection systems.
