Project:
Somerville Fire Museum
Location:
Somerville
This
Somerville fire house was built in 1920 and was an operational
firehouse up until 1975. It was converted into the Somerville
Firemen’s Museum in 1980. In 2004, the township began
renovations to the museum. M&E Engineers, teaming with
Holt, Morgan, Russell Architects, provided Mechanical, Electrical,
Plumbing and Fire Protection design services for the renovation
of this fire house into a functional museum.
