Energy has always been a core focus of M&E Engineers. We have worked on energy-reduction strategies and energy projects with Verizon and its predecessor companies since our formation in 1984. We are currently managing PSE&G's energy conservation projects for their facilities in New Jersey and are an Approved Partner in New Jersey's Clean Energy Pay for Performance Program. M&E is an Energy Star Partner and is a member of the United States Green Building Council.

Energy Audits
We utilize energy audits to help identify improvements that can result in energy savings and provide professional guidance toward making buildings as efficient as possible. In addition to cutting energy costs, we use our integrated solutions approach to look at all the needs of an organization including comfort, health and safety, and the environment. M&E Engineers perform energy studies, ASHRAE Tier I & II Audits, and Investment Grade Audits. Our engineers are well versed in energy management, retrofits, operations, green building design and renewable energy.

Energy Modeling
Through various energy modeling techniques we can determine how to make a building energy efficient while maintaining cost efectiveness and thermal comfort. We use a variety of software tools to create an energy model simulation complete with graphs and a 3D building model that allows us to accurately predict a building's energy performance. M&E Engineers has provided energy modeling services for many LEED and Energy Star certified buildings.
